We port your numbers from your current provider as part of the switchover. Your customers keep dialling the same number. The first batch is always free.
We can design a solution around your specific call volumes, multiple sites or complex call flows.
Other providers charge for this. Caznet includes it free.

Caznet vs. national providers
Most national phone system providers are interstate businesses with offshore support, per-minute call charges and contracts that lock you in for years. Here's how Caznet compares.

Hosted PBX — common questions
A Cloud Hosted PBX is a business phone system hosted in the cloud — rather than running on physical hardware at your premises. Calls are made and received over your internet connection. You get all the features of a traditional PBX (auto attendant, extensions, call routing, voicemail) without the upfront hardware cost or maintenance headaches. Caznet manages the entire platform from our Adelaide data centre.
Yes. We can port your existing phone numbers to Caznet — your first port is free. The porting process typically takes 2–5 business days and is managed entirely by our team. During the porting process your existing numbers remain active, so there is no disruption to your business.
Yes. Caznet includes free installation, configuration and training on all Hosted PBX plans. Our Adelaide team will come to your site, install and configure your handsets, set up your call flows, auto attendant and any other features you need — and train your team on how to use the system. There are no hidden fees for this service.
A reliable broadband connection is recommended — NBN, fibre or Ethernet. As a general guide, each concurrent call requires approximately 100 Kbps of upload and download bandwidth. Our team will assess your existing connection as part of the installation process and advise if an upgrade is needed. We can also supply and manage your business internet if required.
If your internet connection goes down, calls can be automatically diverted to a mobile or another number of your choice — so you never miss a call. We can configure failover routing as part of your setup. For businesses requiring maximum reliability, we can also discuss backup internet options.
From approval, the typical lead time is around four weeks. The on-site installation and training on the day usually takes just one business day. We'll work around your schedule to minimise disruption.
The system is designed to be user-friendly, and most staff pick it up quickly. As part of every installation we provide hands-on training and leave behind customised quick-start guides tailored to your setup. Ongoing support is always available if questions come up later.
Not necessarily. If you have compatible IP handsets already in place, we'll assess them during the design phase and advise whether they can be reused. In many cases existing hardware can be carried over, which helps keep costs down.
Yes — the system is fully flexible. Extensions, call flows, ring groups, auto attendants and time-based routing can all be changed at any time. Simple changes are handled free of charge by our Adelaide team; just give us a call.
Caznet operates as its own carrier. The hosted PBX platform runs on our own network infrastructure, hosted in our Adelaide data centre. You're not dependent on a third-party wholesale provider — which means faster fault resolution and better visibility when something goes wrong.
Traditional PSTN and ISDN services are being progressively discontinued across Australia as the NBN rollout matures. Beyond future-proofing, Cloud PBX offers a far richer feature set, greater flexibility (work from anywhere), easier scalability, and significantly lower costs — especially with all calls included. Most businesses switching to Caznet Hosted PBX see immediate cost reductions.
Yes. We can provision new local numbers in any Australian state, so you can have a Sydney or Melbourne number even if you're based in Adelaide. Numbers are available in minimum blocks of 10, and multiple state numbers can be included on the one system.
Yes — mobile diversions can be configured from individual handsets or built directly into call flows. You can set calls to ring your mobile simultaneously, as a fallback, or only during certain hours. This can be updated at any time.
Call quality on VoIP depends on proper system configuration and a reliable internet connection. As part of every installation, our team reviews your internet connection and network setup to ensure it's suitable. If an upgrade is needed, we can discuss internet options. When configured correctly, VoIP call quality matches or exceeds traditional phone systems.
