Full System Service (recommended every six months) 

Is your computer running a slower than it used to? Do you think it could be performing better? Your computer (similar to your car) needs the operating system, software and hardware serviced at regular intervals to keep all three of these components operating at their peak. The Caznet Solutions full system service is designed to help your computer perform at its best.  

This service includes a full hard disk defragmentation, Full Scandisk and Disk Repair, a thorough cleaning of the operating system which includes removing any unnecessary programs, windows files and temporary files, latest updates downloaded and applied for all applicable software applications (including Windows, your Anti-Virus, Microsoft Office, Java Virtual Machine, Media Player and Instant Messengers), check your computer for viruses and spy-ware and create a system restore point.  

On top of the software maintenance that we will perform on your computer we will also give the inside of your computer, mouse and keyboard a thorough cleaning. Dust inside your devices build up very quickly because of static electricity. This dust increases your system temperature and seriously decreases performance. We will also check for any damage to the physical components including drives, cables and cards.
 

Basic System Service 

The basic system service is intended as a cheaper, more regular servicing program. It includes;

• Full hard disk defragmentation

• Full system scan disk and disk repair

• Disk clean up including removal of old windows, temporary and program files.

• A physical clean of the equipment to remove dust and increase performance. Also check all cables, drives and cards for damage.

• Update Windows Media Player and MSN Messenger.

• Check for spy-ware and viruses.
   

Full Format and Setup

Some times your operating system can get it self in such a mess that the best way to make everything work again is to format the system and start from scratch. Formatting means removing everything, including Windows, from computer. The hard drive is then re-built to have an operating system and programs installed. This technique solves 95% of all operating system and speed related problems for computers. However, it does mean that anything not properly backed up before the computer is sent to Caznet Solutions will be permanently deleted. 

A full format and setup service consists of; 

• Full format of all hard disks

• Installation of a Microsoft Operating System (supplied or purchased)

• Installation of all supplied drivers and major software applications.

• Setup and configuration of all hardware devices when drivers are supplied.

• All windows updates and applicable service packs installed so that the operating system is as up to date as possible.

• Anti-Virus/Firewall installed and upgraded if possible (and supplied or purchased).

• A physical cleaning of the equipment plus a check for damage to cables, drives and cards.
